Residential Asset Manager

Greater London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Asset Manager - High-End Mixed-Use Estate, Central London
Immediately available candidates preferred - to start as soon as possible
Make your mark on one of London's most prestigious mixed-use assets.
We're working on a confidential mandate to appoint an experienced Asset Manager to help shape the strategic and operational management of a high-profile residential and commercial property in Central London.
You'll be seconded to the client team (a leading institutional investor) to work alongside their asset management function and drive resolution of several complex service charge and utility matters. You will bring clarity, accountability, and progress to legacy issues - with the support of the client and external professional advisors.
This is a rare opportunity to gain client-side experience, influence decision-making at portfolio level, and make a visible impact in a high-value environment.
What's involved?
You'll lead the charge on improving recoverability, resolving disputes, and safeguarding value. Key priorities include:

  • Working across residential and commercial property management teams to implement tribunal decisions and resolve ongoing service charge issues.
  • Maximising recovery of historic and current utilities charges.
  • Engaging directly with leaseholders on sensitive matters and finding workable solutions.
  • Managing legal advisors and external claims processes in a commercially minded, cost-effective manner.
  • Supporting the response to Right to Manage claims, including strategic alternatives that protect the landlord's position.
What are we looking for?
You'll need a solid foundation in asset management - ideally with experience in high-end residential portfolios - and a commercial mindset that balances risk, value, and resolution. A confident communicator, you'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, solicitors, and leaseholders alike, and adept at managing complex multi-party disputes with clarity and purpose.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on complexity, takes ownership, and can drive change within a structured and collaborative client-side environment.
