Care Today (Children's Services) are recruiting Residential Care Workers to join our new Residential School in Derby.

Our welcoming new home will provide 24/7 care for young people within the home, the home is for children all facing a variety of their own challenges, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children.

The home is part of an exciting wider project which includes a School and also a Fostering Hub, creating a network of services all in one place, giving staff the opportunity to get involved in all areas.

During your 6-month probation period, you will be enrolled in a NVQ 3 Diploma in residential care. This will be fully funded and you will be given plenty of time and support to complete However, you must be self-motivated to complete the qualification.

Ideally the person applying will have:-

Availability and ability to work on a rota that involves 24/7 working Good communication and listening skills Able and willing to do sleep in shifts Accurate record keeper Organisational skills Good team player Driving licence
