Are you a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individual with experience in residential childcare? We are looking for a Residential Care Worker to join our small, supportive team in a 3-bed residential home for children with learning disabilities and non-verbal communication needs.
About the Role:
You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for our young residents. This includes supporting them with daily routines, personal care, educational and recreational activities, and emotional well-being. You'll be working on a rota basis, including weekends, and sleep-in shifts are required (paid an additional 50 per sleep-in).
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working in a residential children's home is essential
Experience supporting children who are non-verbal and have learning disabilities
A caring and patient nature, with a commitment to safeguarding and child development
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
