Beacon Childcare is seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers to join our team in Handsworth, Birmingham, supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in a warm and nurturing home environment.

Your Role:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a key part in creating a safe, supportive setting that promotes stability and growth for each young person.
You will:

Deliver high-quality, child-focused care on a daily basis. Support young people with their routines, education, and social activities. Build strong, trusting relationships and serve as a positive role model. Assist in developing and implementing personalised care plans. Use IT systems to maintain accurate records and reports. Transport young people to school, appointments, and activities. Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with Ofsted standards.

What We're Looking For:

A caring, patient, and resilient individual. Experience in residential childcare (desirable but not essential). A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). A manual driving licence (essential). A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
