Job Description
Inglefield Children's Centre in Runcorn are looking for Residential Childcare Workers to provides high-quality short breaks and respite care for children and young people with disabilities, healthcare needs, and behaviours that challenge. We are looking for caring, resilient and committed individuals to join our team.
What you will do:
Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a safe, nurturing, and homely environment. Support with daily routines including personal care, mealtimes, activities, and outings. Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to meet individual care plans. Promote independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes for every child. Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
About you:
Experience of working with children or young people, ideally in a residential, SEN or social care setting. A caring, patient and empathetic approach. Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally. NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (Equivalent) Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: 15.58 per hour
