Quokka Education is supporting an Outstanding day and residential special school for 97 boys aged 10-16 with a range of needs including ADHD, autism, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
The residential provision offers weekday evening placements for up to 20 pupils, providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where students can build trust and independence.

We're seeking a compassionate and warm-hearted Residential Child Care Worker to cover maternity leave, working three nights per week (term time only) starting in December 2025, working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings (30 hours per week).

This role involves evening support with three overnight sleep-ins each week.

The Working Pattern

Monday: 12:30pm - 9:00pm
Tuesday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm (sleep-in) ? Wednesday 7:00am - 9:00am
Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm (sleep-in) ? Friday 7:00am - 9:00am
