The Chartwell Group is a well-established company with a small residential school for boys who have social, emotional and educational needs. We have serviced Cambridgeshire and other local authorities for the past thirty-five years. We are currently recruiting for caring and passionate individuals who want a career in residential social care, within our home in Friday Bridge near Wisbech.

The hours for this post are 40 hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Sleep-in duties will also be a requirement of the post. These will be paid at an additional 55 per sleep, increasing the 27,000 starting salary by at least 2,640 per annum.

A key part of the role is managing the day-to-day care of the boys in both their social and educational settings and you will be working alongside a very experienced team.

A genuine interest in working with vulnerable young people is a priority as well as an ability to form trusting, responsive relationships with them to enable them to manage the changes in their lives that they have to face.
