At Spring Care For You, we specialise in providing high-quality therapeutic residential care to children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, and adverse early life experiences. We're looking for dedicated and emotionally intelligent individuals to join our team as Residential Childcare Officers.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Residential Childcare Officers, you'll support children in a nurturing, structured, and emotionally responsive environment. You'll play a vital part in their recovery and development by:
Providing consistent, safe, and therapeutic care as part of a trauma-informed team
Listening to and advocating for each child's wishes and feelings
Supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of children who may struggle with trust, attachment, and regulation
Helping children learn coping skills, build self-esteem, and work towards positive life outcomes
Encouraging independence, life skills, and participation in education and community activities
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with a genuine passion for working with children. You don't need to have all the answers - just the willingness to learn, reflect, and grow with us. Ideal candidates will:
Be empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental
Communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing
Be open to understanding trauma and its impact on behaviour
Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (as required)
Have the emotional resilience to support young people through challenging times
Have experience working within a residential childcare setting (essential)
You must hold or be willing to work towards the Level 4 Diploma in Working with Children and Young People (fully funded by us).
All candidates require a full UK drivers license.
