Residential Support Worker - Children's Home

South of England (Wiltshire, Somerset & New Forest areas)



Salary:

30,400 - 33,000 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins)



Working Hour:

40 hours per week + 2 sleep-ins



Hourly Rate:

Included within annual salary

2 per week

YPs with Trauma, EBD



Qualifications Required:

Relevant childcare / social care qualification preferred (Level 3 encouraged)



Experience in Years Required:

1 year working with children (preferred, not essential)

fun, playful, resilient and emotionally intelligent Residential Support Workers

who can balance warmth with clear boundaries.


You will:


Provide day-to-day care and emotional support Engage young people in fun, educational and recreational activities Support school runs, family contact and extra-curricular activities Carry out everyday parental responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning Maintain accurate daily records and complete health & safety checks Work collaboratively with social workers and professionals Work 24-hour shift patterns including sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays
