Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to provide high-quality support and care to children within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in implementing care plans, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring the wellbeing of children in their daily activities. Duties



Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of children are met effectively. Support children with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene. Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote development and well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided, behavioural observations, and progress notes. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to update on children's progress and any concerns. Assist with transportation needs by driving children to appointments or activities as required. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.

Qualifications



Must have relevant certifications of level 5 Proven experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting is highly desirable. Valid driving licence with clean driving record to facilitate transportation duties. Strong understanding of childcare principles, child development stages, and care planning. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members. Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes. Compassionate nature with patience and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Organised approach to managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children's growth and development within a professional environment committed to quality care standards.

Pay: From 22,812.12 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
