What You'll Be Doing


As a Residential Childcare Worker, you'll be a key part of a close-knit team caring for young people who need stability, compassion, and connection. You'll work on a 2:1 basis, forming meaningful relationships while helping children grow, heal, and thrive.

Whether it's a spontaneous paddleboarding session, a walk along the coast, or a cosy movie night, you'll be creating moments that matter--while supporting emotional wellbeing, daily routines, and essential life skills.

Your Core Responsibilities



Create safe, nurturing environments that encourage growth Support young people's education, hobbies, and independence Deliver trauma-informed care in line with therapeutic plans Help with cooking, cleaning, and daily routines Work a flexible rota including weekends and sleep-ins Keep accurate records and contribute to progress planning

What You'll Bring



A genuine passion for working with children and young people Previous experience in care or youth work is ideal--but we welcome those ready to make a meaningful career change Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete) Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Full UK driving licence Commitment to learning and professional development
