New Path Care are currently building a team of empathetic and resilient childcare workers to work at our residential children's homes in the Liverpool area. Diploma Level 3

A strong desire to positively impact the young people in our care whilst recognizing and assessing their individual needs

Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children / young people and to remain updated in relation to any changes within applicable safeguarding legislation and policy.

Promoting the social and emotional wellbeing and development of young people and to consistently strive to further develop these skills

Excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude

Responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the home.

Willingness to contribute to inspections carried out by Ofsted and any other necessary external professionals.

Be able to establish and maintain good relationships and effective communication with young people, relatives, colleagues, and external sources.

Ensure a warm welcome and smooth transition for every new resident and complete all necessary paperwork and record keeping

Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word and Excel

Current Enhanced DBS Check (preferred but not essential as we will provide)

A full UK driving license is preferable.
