We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to work Under the supervision of a senior members of staff, to contribute to all aspects of the physical and emotional care of the child(ren) so as to promote their welfare whilst working in partnership with the family and other professions. In the absence of a more senior member of staff to be responsible for the unit.
Duties
Support children with daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
Assist in implementing individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to children and their families
Drive children to appointments, school, or activities as required
Monitor children's behaviour and ensure their safety at all times
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the child's condition
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and healthcare professionals regarding care updates
Utilise IT tools to update records, follow care plans, and communicate with team members
Experience
Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely is preferred
Knowledge of child development and childcare practices is advantageous
Strong communication skills for liaising with families and team members
Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records and following care plans
