Position: Residential Support Worker
Location: Riddings
Responsible To: Registered Manager
Salary: 13.60 to 14.20 per hour
Sleep-in Pay: 63.60 to 64.20 per sleep (one hour of hourly rate + 50)
Potential Earnings: Up to approx. 35,040 per year
Attendance Bonus: Up to 1,000 annually

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be part of a team creating a warm, stable, and supportive home for children and young people who have experienced difficult life journeys. You'll help them heal, grow, and believe in brighter futures.

A Snapshot of Your Day-to-Day:
Building genuine, positive relationships with the children and young people
Providing consistent, trauma-informed care using PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
Acting as a Key Worker to support, mentor, and advocate for young people
Encouraging education, skills, and resilience for adulthood
Promoting inclusion, equality, and respect - always
Supporting therapy, health, and emotional wellbeing
Empowering young people to have a say in their lives and futures
Making sure their home feels safe, welcoming, and happy
Being part of the safeguarding team to keep everyone protected
Bringing your unique skills and hobbies to enrich daily life
What We're Looking For:
A passion for working with children and young people
Commitment to providing safe, caring, and consistent support
Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and some weekends
Team players with a positive, can-do attitude
Openness to training, development, and reflective practice
Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
