As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalised care to individuals in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being of clients, and fostering a supportive environment. Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Develop and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
Drive clients to appointments or social outings when required.
Skills
Experience working with children is highly desirable.
Valid driving licence and ability to transport clients safely.
Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles.
Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans for individuals.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also possess a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others through their work as Support Workers.
