Experience in Years Required:
1 year in a Ofsted Children's Registered Home (preferred)

Essential Job Requirements:
Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
Ability to work as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes
Encourage and support young people in daily activities and education
Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
Demonstrate commitment to training and professional development
Adapt to challenging situations with resilience and motivation
Be confident in using Microsoft Office (or willing to learn)
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
Enhanced DBS disclosure required
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance required
Desirable Attributes:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Knowledge of relevant legislation for Children's Homes
Experience with Ofsted inspections
Understanding of attachment and trauma in young people
