This isn't just another Registered Manager role - this is your chance to take the lead in creating something from scratch. From shaping the culture to recruiting your dream team and building a best-in-class care environment, you'll have the autonomy to make your mark, supported every step of the way by a senior management team who share your vision.
What You'll Be Doing
Launch and lead 2 brand-new children's homes, building systems, processes, and culture from the ground up
Deliver exceptional standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
Recruit, inspire, and develop a passionate, high-performing team
Lead with confidence through Ofsted registration and inspections, aiming for "Good" or "Outstanding"
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, local authorities, and external partners
Create a warm, structured, and nurturing home where young people can flourish
Take full responsibility for the home's budget and resources
About You
You're a driven and experienced Children's Home Manager (or Deputy ready to step up), looking for something more - the chance to lead, build, and innovate. You're excited by the idea of laying foundations, making key decisions, and seeing the direct impact of your leadership.
What You'll Bring
At least 2 years' experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in children's residential care
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent)
Deep understanding of Ofsted standards and children's home regulations
Passion for improving lives and outcomes for vulnerable young people
Inspiring leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Full UK driving licence
