What You'll Do:
Provide consistent care, support, and encouragement to children in a residential setting
Help young people develop life skills, confidence, and positive routines
Promote emotional well-being and resilience through trauma-informed approaches
Build trusted relationships and act as a positive role model
Support with daily activities including education, appointments, and leisure
Contribute to care planning and maintain accurate records and reports
Ensure the safety and welfare of young people at all times
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Experience in care or support work is helpful, but not essential -- full training is provided
Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond with empathy
Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
Ideally, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
