An exciting opportunity has arisen due to growth within the company.... Sunflower Children Care Services are opening a brand new home and are looking for passionate Children's Residential Workers and Waking Night Workers to join our amazing team.

Louis Haven will provide a warm and nurturing home for up to two children with emotional difficulties and/or learning difficulties. We invest in the professional development of all our staff whilst keeping children central at all times in our ethos and approaches.

Responsibilities



As a Children's Residential Worker, you will work directly with children offering support to improve their overall well-being, safety, social and communication skills, as well as their life and functional skills. The role is diverse and rewarding, with genuine opportunities for career growth and personal development. You will play a key role in helping to support our children through various challenges, and we are looking for someone who is compassionate, dedicated, and fully committed to making a difference. The roles are shift-based, including day, evening, and weekend work, with the requirement for sleep-ins. Additional payment is provided for each sleep-in shift. Our Waking Night Worker roles work on a 4 on/4 off schedule providing excellent work life balance.

About You



? The ability to remain calm and resilient in emotionally and physically challenging situations, with a high level of patience and emotional strength.

? Reliability and excellent time management.

? The ability to relate empathetically to children from various backgrounds and understand their unique experiences.

? Confidence in communicating clearly with both internal colleagues and external professionals.

? Strong problem-solving skills and the adaptability to respond to changing situations.

Pay: 24,420.00-38,878.76 per year
