We are looking for a weekend Residential Support Worker (days) to join our growing, highly valued team. We are a nurturing and supportive, giving our children high levels of care and allowing them to achieve amazing outcomes.
The Willows is a Children's residential service in Stafford, providing a home for 3 Children.
We are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers, we have full time positions (Staff are required to work weekends) with some, sleep in duties, paid at 50.00 per sleep.
Experience in a children's residential setting is essential. All staff must hold a full driving license.
paid annual leave, pension etc.
Full training and induction will be provided including the opportunity for further qualifications (NVQ4) children and young people.
The role of a support worker will involve:
Contributing to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation. Forming effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies. To ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, adhere to the cleaning Rota system, encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate. To ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers. To maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Harmony CRH and Ofsted. To contribute to the educational and social development of each young person and assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programs. To meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximize opportunities for their development.
