Summary
We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at The Owen Kenny Partnership. In this role, you will be involved in residential property transactions from start to finish, assisting our conveyancers and ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions (freehold sale or purchase, leasehold sale or purchase, transfer of equity, first registration) including fixed fee quotes, new file openings, Veriphy ID checks, Client Care Letter with T's and C's, preparing draft Contract packs, completing Stamp Duty Land Tax forms, raising bills, producing Completion Statements and submitting applications to Land Registry for registration on completion
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the process
Maintain Redbrick case management (training will be given) and manage case files efficiently
Prepare contract packs to be sent out
Closing and archiving of files after completion
Handling Deeds enquiries + General resi enquiries
Requirements
Proven experience in residential conveyancing is essential (minimum 2 years)
Knowledge of Completion Statements / post completion work
Proficiency in IT applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
