is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Residential Conveyancing team and seeking a detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join them in Salisbury. They are searching for a motivated individual with prior experience in conveyancing, who can provide essential support to ensure smooth operations within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documentation - Prepare and assist in the drafting of legal documents related to residential property transactions, including contracts of sale, leases, transfer deeds, and completion statements, under supervision of solicitors.
Client and Stakeholder Liaison - Act as a key point of contact for clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties. Provide clear and professional communication throughout the conveyancing process to ensure smooth progression of matters.
Title Investigation and Legal Searches - Conduct title checks and property searches, including local authority, environmental, and drainage searches. Identify and report any issues to the supervising solicitor and ensure compliance with Land Registry and HM Land Charges requirements.
File Management and Case Progression - Maintain and update case management systems with accurate records of correspondence, documentation, and key milestones. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks in line with regulatory and firm standards.
Legal Support and Administrative Duties - Respond to telephone and email enquiries, providing updates and legal information to clients where appropriate. Support solicitors with administrative tasks, including preparing completion packs and post-completion registrations.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: 26,000 - 32,000
Full-time, permanent role
Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Paralegal, within Residential Conveyancing.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless client interactions.
Proficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
