Residential Living Support Worker
to join our compassionate team and help create a warm, supportive home environment for our residents.
About the Role
As a Residential Living Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting their wellbeing, independence and dignity. Working within our values-based approach, you'll help residents develop their potential while maintaining their individuality and rights.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver person-centred care including personal care support
Assist with daily living activities and medication administration
Support residents in developing life skills and accessing the community
Maintain accurate records and participate in care planning
Follow safeguarding procedures and promote resident wellbeing
Maintain a clean, homely and safe environment
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Experience working with people with learning disabilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility and reliability
Desirable:
NVQ2 in Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards qualification
First Aid qualification
Clean driving licence
Knowledge of Care Standards and learning disability services
