Residential Night Support Worker - WMF2480e

------------------------------------------------

Job description

Location: Ulverston

Contract Type: Permanent

About this opportunity

We're looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team at 23 Hart Street.

At 23 Hart Street, we provide residential short breaks for children and young people aged 8-18 who have disabilities, autism, or complex needs. Our home is specially designed to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and enjoy new experiences. We believe in making every moment count--whether that's through engaging activities, community outings, or simply being there when it matters most.

Working in our short-break home means becoming part of a young person's journey. You'll share in their highest highs and support them through the toughest challenges, celebrating every achievement--big or small. Every night you work helps a child feel safe, supported, and valued--building their independence, confidence, and happiness. Our team is passionate, experienced, and committed to making a real impact, and we're looking for like-minded people to join us.

Who we are looking for...

Experience working with children and young people with disabilities, ideally in a residential setting. A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare is desirable, but if you're passionate and willing to work towards it, we'd love to hear from you. Strong understanding of managing behaviours that challenge. Exceptional communication skills to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
This is a rewarding role that can be challenging at times, so you'll need to be confident, self-motivated, and driven by the desire to make a difference. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and help young people have their voices heard in every aspect of their lives.

Why Join Us?

We'll support you to achieve your Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification and provide ongoing professional development to help you grow in your career. You'll become part of a supportive, experienced team that values collaboration and celebrates every success--big or small. This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a real difference every single day.
