Fully remote, permanent role, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership schemes. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and other required legal documents for residential property transactions. Conduct thorough title checks, property searches, review survey results, and address any issues or enquiries that arise during the conveyancing process. Maintain clear and regular communication with individual and corporate clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors to ensure seamless progress from instruction through to completion. Perform all post-completion requirements including SDLT returns and HM Land Registry applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage. Adhere to SRA and CQS regulations, AML procedures, and best practice risk management protocols, maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance throughout every transaction. Contribute to the development of a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues where required.

Essential Skills and Experience



Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Practitioner in England & Wales, with a minimum of three years' proven experience independently handling a full residential conveyancing caseload. Up-to-date expertise in property law, leasehold and freehold transactions, new build matters, and lender requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail in all legal documentation and communication. Exceptional client care abilities, with the capacity to manage expectations, provide clear guidance, and build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders. Confident communicator, both written and verbal, able to explain complex legal issues in a practical and accessible way. Highly competent in using conveyancing case management systems and Microsoft Office software. Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining current legal knowledge.
