Our client, a multi disciplined firm with offices across 6 areas of Manchester have a vacancy for a Residential Property Solicitor. They are committed to delivering a high standard of service in residential property/conveyancing. Key Responsibilities for a Residential Property Solicitor in Conveyancing and Client Care

Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, and transfers of equity. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage documentation, and all other property-related legal documents. Provide expert legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process, from initial instruction to post-completion, maintaining clear, timely, and empathetic communication. Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk for clients. Liaise confidently and professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage providers, solicitors, and other stakeholders. Ensure all transactions adhere to relevant SRA, AML, CQS, and GDPR regulations and firm procedures. Work collaboratively with conveyancers, assistants, and other fee earners to deliver an efficient and high-quality property service. Maintain accurate records, case files, and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate actively in team meetings and ongoing training.

Essential Skills and Experience for Residential Property Solicitors



Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a valid practising certificate. Demonstrable experience managing a caseload of residential property files from inception to completion. Sound knowledge of conveyancing law, property transactions, Land Registry applications, and lender requirements. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic and professional approach to client relations. Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Skilled in the use of case management systems and standard office software; IT literacy is essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team environment. Commitment to delivering outstanding client care and maintaining high professional standards at all times.
