Turret Care Limited are seeking Residential Support Worker, the role is a balance of providing care for young people in a residential care setting.

Have a passion and commitment for working with young people and making a difference to their lives, you do not need experience to join our team, we will provide you with an excellent training programme and development to commence a rewarding career with our company.

Responsible for working with the Manager in a children's home along with building and developing positive relationships with our young people and encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within the homes.

Build positive working relationships with external stakeholders, such as Local Authorities and other organisations.

Working alongside a staff team and providing a high standard of care for the young people in your care.

Complete formal key working sessions with young people, along with completing the required documentation.

To ensure that young people are monitored, protected and safeguarded.

To ensure high standards of safe working practices at all times.

To assist in the motivation of young people to take an active part in decision making and involved in the design and delivered of the service they receive.

What we are looking for:

Ability to work shifts and sleep ins

An understanding of the relevant legislation relating to the care of young people.

Diploma level 3 or 4 in residential childcare or equivalent, but not essential, but must be willing to study for this.

Full UK driving licence.

Right to work in the UK.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Turret Care Limited covers the cost of DBS checks.
