Bright Path Care provides residential care for children based on a therapeutic approach. Our children may present emotional and social difficulties and some challenging behaviour at times. Working within a supportive therapeutic environment, you will be part of a team dedicated to caring for young people with compassion and a commitment to positive relationships.

Rota - 1 day on 2 days off

Responsibilities

Assist children with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child. Maintain clear and effective communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in care. Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments, ensuring safe transportation. Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote development and social skills. Document progress and any changes in behaviour or needs, reporting back to relevant parties as necessary. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Experience

Previous experience working with children is essential, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs. A background in childcare or related fields is highly desirable. Proven ability to develop care plans that effectively address individual requirements. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with children, families, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties. Familiarity with IT applications for documentation and reporting will be advantageous.
