Residential Childcare Practitioner - Change Lives, Build Futures!

Swinton, Manchester


Provision:

Children's Home


Service Users:

Children aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)


Salary & Working Hours



13.50 per hour Contract Options: 36 or 48 hours per week Sleep-ins: 6 to 8 sleeps per month, paid at 52 per sleep Potential Earnings: Up to 38,688 per year

Desirable Qualifications & Experience



Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare, Social/Children's Care, or Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Experience in SEBD, challenging behaviour, or complex needs (not elderly care). Full UK Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).

Essential Requirements



Fluent in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum Age: 22 (due to children's workforce regulations).
