Children's Residential Support Worker
Salary: 35,809.49 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins), rising to 36,308.06 after successful probation
Location: Castleford
Contract: Full-time (approx. 56.4 hours per week including sleeps)
Rota: 1 day on, 2 days off (08:00-23:00 + sleep)
About the Role
We are recruiting Children's Residential Support Workers to support young people aged 8-18 who present with emotional and behavioural challenges. The home can accommodate 2 young people.

Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Flexibility to work long shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People/Residential Childcare or already working towards it.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed practice
Experience in residential childcare is desirable but not essential for the right person
Working Pattern
Three-week rolling rota (1 day on, 2 days off)
Sleep-ins included within contracted hours and paid during annual leave
