Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Support Worker

to join our team for Waking Watches, providing high-quality support to individuals with

learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals in their daily routines, encouraging autonomy and choice. Implement personalised care and behaviour support plans, including PBS strategies. Provide consistent emotional and mental health support, fostering trust and resilience. Promote personal development through structured activities and community engagement. Maintain professional communication with individuals, families, and health and social care professionals. Accurately document support provided, behaviours, incidents, and progress in a confidential manner. Ensure safe transportation to and from activities, appointments, and community outings. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all individuals.

Essential Skills and Experience

Experience supporting individuals with

learning disabilities, autism

, and

mental health challenges

. Familiarity with or training in

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and communication. A flexible and proactive approach to shift patterns, including waking nights that are paid at a competitive rate and weekends.

Pay Rate

The pay rate is

open to discussion and will depend on experience

and qualifications.
