Join Our Team as a Trauma-Informed Residential Youth Support Worker!Location: Worksop, NottinghamshireSalary: xc2xa325,798 - xc2xa326,331 per annum (base salary). With an earning potential of xc2xa329,515.12 - xc2xa330,048.12 (inclusive of on average 1 sleep in per week & your attendance allowance of xc2xa31,400 per annum).Shift Pattern: Earlies/Late/Long days and sleep-ins on a rotational scheduleAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? As a Residential Youth Support Worker in our children's homes, you will be a key part of a close-knit team committed to providing stability, guidance, and support for vulnerable young people. Your role will be to empower them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in a trauma-informed setting.What You'll Do:

  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with young people, helping them navigate complex emotions and behaviours.
  • Assist with daily routines, medication administration, and ensure the well-being of each young person.
  • Organize and participate in recreational activities that foster a supportive atmosphere and promote healing.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and the best outcomes for the young people you support.

  • Experience and Dedication: Previous experience providing emotional and behavioural support is highly desirable, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.

  • Qualifications: A willingness to work towards or a current qualification in QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
