Resort Kids Club Supervisor
for SCHLOSS Roxburghe's Kio Kids Club, an exciting hub of activity for our guests aged between 4-12 years.
This is a permanent, full-time role, 40 hours a week, working days are Wednesday to Sunday. You must be available to work weekends.
We offer a
competitive salary of 13.76 per hour plus gratuities

Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.*
The
Resort Kids Club Supervisor
will oversee the daily running and activity schedule of the new Kids Club at SCHLOSS Roxburghe and will play an integral part in creating a fun and exciting environment for our younger guests with a strong focus on the local environment and sustainability.
Your Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the daily running of the Kids Club, ensuring the safety and welfare of our young guests alongside creating a fun environment for the children.
You will be responsible for a set number of children in your care, aged 4yrs-12yrs, in line with Care Inspectorate ratios.
Providing a warm and friendly welcome to all of our guests, you'll put parents/guardians at ease and ensure they feel comfortable leaving their children for fun activities.
You will plan daily, weekly and monthly themed activities based on the Kids Club concept, including arts and craft sessions and outdoor activities on the estate.
To ensure all on-site health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place and adhered to at all times.
Take ownership of regular safety checks on toys and equipment within the Kids Club, with assistance from the Maintenance team and Health & Safety Manager.
You will ensure to remain compliant with all the latest and relevant legislation and guidelines.
High level of confidentiality and discretion towards guests and children to be maintained at all time.
Your Knowledge & Capabilities:
You are creative, imaginative and passionate about developing and delivering activities for children.
You are positive, patient and ready to adapt to changing situations.
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
Achieved an HNC in Childhood Practice or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) preferred.
Experience working with primary aged children essential.
Experience in a similar role working with children both in indoor and outdoor settings.
Children's first aid certification essential.
