Job Description

We are looking for a reliable candidate to join our team on a full-time basis, to provide first line support and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, assisting with network troubleshooting and administration, and track support tickets and resolutions. Supporting the procurement of IT equipment and services, developing into wider organisational aspects of procurement, vendor liaison and order processing. Documenting and tracking equipment, support tickets and resolutions.

Skills & Experience Required:



An NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Information Technology 1-3 years of experience in IT support or service desk Experience in procurement processes or ERP systems (vendor relations, inventory, BOM, work orders) Experience of converged local data and voice network Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Be able to demonstrate an understanding of IT security best practices and compliance with UK data protection regulations, including GDPR.

Key Responsibilities



This role is central to ensuring our staff can work seamlessly on site and remotely. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day technical issues, troubleshooting, and providing guidance to help our team stay productive. You will have a strong interest in technology proven either via your work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies. For instance, you may have secured an internship in a technology role or focused on technology as part of a university project. You may have learned how to use a particular technology. Provide first line technical support for end users Troubleshoot hardware and software issues Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications Maintain and update IT equipment and peripherals Monitor system performance and security Assist with network troubleshooting and administration Document and track support tickets and resolutions Support procurement of IT equipment and services, including vendor liaison and order processing Develop organisational aspects of procurement, vendor liaison and order processing Assist with onboarding new staff, including setting up accounts and devices

Hours of work: Full time

- 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm (with a 30-minute break), Monday - Friday.

Pay:

28,000 - 33,000 dependent on experience
