In this role, you will oversee a county-wide partnership volunteer programme, crafting and executing a dedicated plan that works closely with our existing volunteers and actively seeks out new partnerships.

Our work in the Refugees, Resettlement & Migration Service brings a unique experience each day, filled with unexpected challenges and rewards! There are several key responsibilities that are likely to be integral to this role, including:
Collaborate across the wider service to understand the ongoing needs of families, ensuring the programme aligns with service requirements.
Take responsibility for managing the practical aspects of the scheme, including policies, procedures, resources, and expenses.
Coordinate and deliver relevant training for volunteers and ensure that all community activities and events are developed and conducted in accordance with health and safety guidelines, is fully compliant, and adheres to the appropriate governance processes.
Responsible for the daily management of the programme throughout West Sussex and for maintaining relationships with partners, including securing resources to support effective community engagement.
To monitor, analyse, and generate accurate reports on volunteer data, as well as on any initiatives and projects aimed at developing this aspect of our business.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Full valid UK driving licence.
Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Advanced theoretical, practical, and procedural knowledge within the specialist area, including an understanding of the principles, policies, and practices related to Refugee, Resettlement, and Migrated families.
Experience in applying specialist knowledge, offering expert advice, and collaborating effectively with other agencies.
Experience in preparing comprehensive documents and reports to inform others.
Evidence of contributing to the delivery of a professional service while engaging efficiently and sensitively with a diverse range of clients.
Demonstrates strong leadership and effective management and coordination skills, capable of guiding teams with clearly defined responsibilities, accountability, and success metrics.
Self-motivated and skilled at inspiring others to successfully deliver projects.
Excellent customer service skills and enjoys working with volunteers in a face-to-face environment.
