We're seeking a
Responsible Individual Consultant
to provide strategic oversight and leadership across multiple children's residential homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a child-focused organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
In this role, you'll support Registered Managers, ensure compliance with
Ofsted regulations
and
Children's Homes Regulations 2015
, and drive outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the management, governance, and compliance of multiple children's homes.
Provide leadership and support to Registered Managers to maintain high standards of care.
Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented consistently and effectively.
Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections to maintain Good or Outstanding ratings.
Drive continuous quality improvement across all services.
Manage budgets, staffing levels, and operational resources efficiently.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and regulatory bodies.
Support staff development, training, and performance management.
Requirements
3+ years' senior leadership experience in children's residential care.
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence (required).
