About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our Nottingham dispensary team. This is a clinical and operational role for a confident professional with post-qualification experience who is ready to take ownership and contribute to a progressive pharmacy model.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring GPhC and legal compliance Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately and safely Perform clinical and legal checks, resolving queries promptly Provide expert patient advice and medication counselling Supervise the pharmacy team and support the technicians Deliver NHS services, including: Discharge Medicine Service (DMS) New Medicine Service (NMS) Pharmacy First Pharmacy Contraception Service Support private healthcare services Collaborate with prescribers and external healthcare professionals Maintain compliance with SOPs, CD regulations, and information governance Contribute to audits, clinical reviews, and new service development

Requirements:



GPhC-registered pharmacist (minimum 1 year post-registration experience required) Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient care skills Able to supervise others and work independently Familiarity with EPS, PMR systems, and NHS digital tools Commitment to CPD and innovation in pharmacy Safeguarding Level 2 and GDPR training (can be provided) UK driving licence preferred but not essential Must be able to reliably commute to our Nottingham-based pharmacy site Sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in developing and delivering new, patient-focused services that align with our modern approach to healthcare
