We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires a leader who can manage a team effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the venue run smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Develop and implement creative drink menus that enhance the customer experience. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage professional growth. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service during busy periods. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Culinary experience is highly desirable, including food preparation and cooking skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in hospitality Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail and barista skills would be beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
