Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in accordance with restaurant standards, ensuring presentation is appealing. Assist with food preparation tasks, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and other service areas to uphold hygiene standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders. A friendly demeanour with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
