Responsibilities
Support the General Manager in
day-to-day operations
, including service, staffing, stock control, and floor management.
Lead by example on the restaurant floor - ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and immersed in the atmosphere of a true tapas bar.
Supervise, train, and motivate the FOH team, maintaining a strong focus on
professionalism, teamwork, and energy
.
Ensure
food and drink service runs seamlessly
, coordinating with the kitchen and bar to keep up with the flow of a busy, fast-paced environment.
Monitor stock levels of both food and beverage (including wine, cava, vermouth, and cocktails) and assist with ordering.
Uphold
health & safety, hygiene, and licensing standards
, ensuring the venue always meets compliance requirements.
Handle guest feedback confidently and constructively, turning potential issues into positive outcomes.
Contribute ideas to improve
service standards, menu launches, events, and promotions
that enhance the restaurant's reputation.
Requirements
Previous experience
in a management or supervisory role within a restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality environment.
A passion for
Mediterranean or Spanish cuisine and culture
is highly desirable.
Confident in
floor management
during busy shifts, keeping both staff and guests happy.
Strong people skills with the ability to train, lead, and inspire a team.
Organised and reliable with good knowledge of
stock control, rota planning, and cash handling
.
Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for customer service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times.
