Responsibilities



Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs. Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service standards, and safety procedures to foster continuous development. Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising staff during peak hours, and resolving operational issues promptly. Assist with budgeting tasks and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas for a safe and inviting environment. Participate in interviewing potential new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food establishments; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with POS systems for sales processing and cash handling. Demonstrated skills in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service. Previous experience with budgeting, food production management, catering operations, or banquet services is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team culture.
