Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is advantageous. Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is a plus, along with basic cooking skills. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A proactive approach to upselling menu items, enhancing guest satisfaction through knowledge of offerings. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
