We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar & Restaurant Manager to oversee our bar & food operations in a vibrant hospitality. This is a new venture looking to open October and the ideal candidate will be required to help recruit and advise the owners on all requirements in establishing & running a successful restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and food preparation, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires a blend of supervisory skills, culinary knowledge, and an understanding of the hospitality industry to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all staff, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink menus that complement food offerings.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
Train and develop staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and health and safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health regulations within the bar area.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain a positive atmosphere.
Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the bar's offerings and special events.
Skills
Proven experience & skill set in bartending and restaurant (front of house) management.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on hospitality.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service.
Familiarity with bar management software and point-of-sale systems is preferred.
Pleasant customer service manner and approach.
