Heavenly Desserts store in York City Centre

. Our team includes

Front of House (FOH) Waiting Staff

Back of House (BOH) Kitchen Team Members

The ideal candidate will have a

strong work ethic, a passion for food and beverages

, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality is preferred, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Your Role



As a

Restaurant Team Member

, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to every guest. This includes:

Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities:



Welcoming and seating guests, ensuring their expectations are exceeded. Providing a warm, professional, and friendly service at all times. Taking orders, serving guests, and delivering outstanding customer service. Clearing and setting tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Working alongside the management team to ensure the booking system operates smoothly.

Back of House (BOH) Responsibilities:



Preparing and presenting

high-quality desserts, brunch items, and drinks

from our extensive menu. Maintaining

excellent food safety and hygiene standards

at all times. Assisting with kitchen prep, cleaning, and supporting the

KP/Pot Wash

when required. Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and speed in all food and drink preparation. Managing brunch service with efficiency, ensuring all dishes are prepared to high standards.

How would you deal with a difficult customer who is being rude or demanding? A customer is unhappy with their dessert and complains. How would you handle the situation? Have you ever had to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting? How did you manage it? Imagine the restaurant is extremely busy, and multiple tables are waiting for their orders. How would you prioritise tasks? Due to the nature of our business, we require our team members to work around 2-3 closing shifts per week which end around 11:30pm - 12am. Are you able to get home safely at that time of night? How would you commute?
