We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a high standard of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and overall restaurant operations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control. Manage team performance through effective training, mentoring, and leadership, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment. Assist in food production as required, demonstrating culinary skills when necessary. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new recipes or specials. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Background in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is crucial for this position. Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
