An Indian restaurant in Blackpool is looking for dynamic and flexible restaurant staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills in English and the ability to handle multiple roles within the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Taking phone orders and managing the till
Explaining allergen information to customers
Taking orders and serving food
Setting tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant
Explaining various dishes to customers
Managing timely dispatch of online and delivery orders
Ensuring customer satisfaction and going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience for our guests
Adhering to restaurant systems and processes
Completing relevant checklists to ensure safety and quality systems are in place
Ensuring general cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to manage cash and till operations
Flexibility to work in various roles within the restaurant
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role is a plus
Knowledge of Malayalam, Tamil, or Hindi is an advantage but not required
Ideal Candidate:
Students looking for part-time work (20 hours per week) preferred, but open to all suitable candidates
