We are Burger & Beyond. We serve up London's best burgers along with signature sides, delicious cocktails and craft beers from our sleek, minimalist, modern restaurants. We're looking for great people to come and help us on our journey to bring amazing food, some fantastic cocktails and even better service to our restaurants.

After the huge success of our Shoreditch restaurant we opened two more in Borough Yards and in Soho. We also have kitchens in Canary Wharf, Camden, St Paul's and Manchester.

We're seeking a talented and dynamic

Restaurant General Manager

to lead our friendly and energetic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creating exceptional guest experiences, and enjoys motivating others to achieve their best.

As a key leader, you'll take a hands-on approach to daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and smooth service across all areas of the restaurant. You'll inspire your team through excellent communication, training, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

Key responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient service. Lead, train, and develop the Front of House team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Manage and monitor restaurant performance, including sales targets, budgets, and cost controls. Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and timing. Support and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with current legislation. Handle customer feedback with professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Create staff rotas and oversee labour cost management. Maintain strong supplier relationships and oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management. Report to the Operations Director and Founders on key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic goals. Ensure the restaurant environment reflects brand standards at all times - clean, welcoming, and well-presented. Foster a positive, collaborative culture where your team can thrive.

About you



We're looking for someone who:

Has a minimum of

2 years' experience

as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role. Brings a confident, engaging personality with a genuine passion for hospitality. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Has a solid understanding of restaurant operations and guest satisfaction. Is motivated to take on new challenges and grow with an ambitious, independent business.
