We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and customer satisfaction
Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence and uphold company standards
Supervise staff performance, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting appraisals
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximise profitability
Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and quality control
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to maintain positive relationships
Monitor financial performance through sales analysis and budgeting activities
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong understanding of food safety standards
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Experience in food production, serving, hospitality, or hotel management is highly desirable
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
Familiarity with kitchen operations, barista experience is advantageous
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
