About the Role
We're looking for a confident, organised, and guest-focused Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. This role is all about creating memorable first impressions and ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
As Host, you'll play a key role in managing bookings, handling payments, and supporting the smooth running of daily service. You'll be the central point of contact for guests, chefs, and the wider team-making sure everything flows seamlessly and that every detail is taken care of.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage reservations through ResDiary and over the phone, ensuring guest details are accurate and handled with care. You'll greet and seat guests professionally, communicate dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen, and support the team with setup and close-down duties.
Handling payments-including cash, vouchers, deposits, and room charges-will be part of your daily routine, along with maintaining a clean and organised host station. You'll also respond to emails and calls, assist with guest feedback, and help maintain our high service standards and review scores.
What We're Looking For
You'll need excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and confident in handling guest interactions with warmth and professionalism.
Experience in a hospitality or front-of-house role is ideal, but we're also open to candidates with transferable skills and a genuine passion for guest service.
