JOB LOCATION: Roe Park Resort, Limavady

SALARY:

12.21 per hour.

About the role:

As Restaurant Host you will be the first point of contact for all our visiting restaurant guests meaning you will dictate the atmosphere for the whole customer experience. We are seeking a friendly, welcoming person/persons to join the team and deliver outstanding customer service to all our guests. Your role will involve meeting and greeting everyone upon arrival, escorting guests to the dining and bar area making sure you provide accurate wait times if tables are not ready. You will use our online booking system ResDiary and manage all seating allocations as well as answer telephone calls dealing with all enquiries. About The Role

:

Main duties will include but are not limited to;

Meeting and greeting all guests, at the front of the restaurant in a polite and friendly manner. Escorting guests to their tables, presenting menus, and identifying any allergen request ensuring that the correct procedure is followed. Monitoring restaurant activity and determine the seating and dining flow. Making sure all menus are clean and well presented. Assisting with food and beverage service when needed. With training, have full and complete knowledge of the menu, enabling you to assist with any guest queries. Being attentive to guest requests and resolve any complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to the restaurant supervisor/manager. Answering restaurant telephone calls and when necessary input telephone bookings into ResDiary. Accurately taking and processing all guest payments through the restaurant till system. Observing all Company and Statutory Fire and Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations. Ensuring your knowledge of Galgorm Collection and its facilities is up to date in order to upsell at every opportunity and maximise profitability. Consistently provide a friendly and efficient service to ensure each guest leaves with the desire to return.

Applicants must:

Have a passion for hospitality and customer service. Have previous experience working in a customer-facing role. Great people skills and is an excellent team player. Have strong communication and organisational skills. Have a positive and friendly attitude with an enthusiastic approach to exceeding customer expectations. Exemplary attention to detail and be well presented. Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand. Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns, evenings, and weekends.

Desirable;

Have previous experience working in a restaurant (desirable).
